VEX works as a decentralized exchange without facing the problem of scalability. On-chain trading is way slower due to the processing speed of the blockchain. Take bitcoin for instance which takes ten minutes to generate a block. VEX generates blocks generate every 100ms with the same capacity of the bitcoin platform, as long as there are TXs in the mempool, if there are no transactions a block will be generated each 20 minutes.
